Meet Mallory!! Mallory was rescued from a high kill shelter in Tennessee and taken into our rescue organization. Since her rescue, she has been cared for in a foster home. Mallory is a senior female lab mix (maybe 9-10 yrs old) who sadly tested positive for heart worm. She has successfully completed treatment and is ready to be adopted. Since her treatment she has been able to gain a few needed pounds and is up to 63 pounds now. She looks great! Mallory is a very active senior dog who can still run (fast!) and play. She does not show any signs of arthritis slowing her down! She is very sweet and enjoys being with other dogs and people. A super happy girl looking to spend her senior years with her own forever family to love and coddle her. A soft bed all her own...We don't know where she was before ending up as a senior in a high kill shelter, but she deserves much more than being tossed out! Do you love seniors? Could you be Mallory's special person? She is great with kids, dogs and cats and is already house and crate trained. Mallory is currently in Tennessee, but will be transported to New England for adoption. Her adoption fee is $250 which includes her transport and microchip. She is completely vetted and up to date on all vaccines. Effective February 1, xxxx a Quarantine Fee of $75 will be required (in addition to the adoption fee) to adopt a dog that has been Quarantined in MA or NH state. These states mandate that all dogs entering either MA or NH shall be quarantined for 48 hours in a state approved facility. The quarantine fee shall be paid by the adopter either directly to the Quarantine Facility or to Angels Among Us Animal Rescue depending on whether you pick your dog up at the Quarantine Facility or through a MA or NH foster family.
