Meet Adventurous! Handsome Adventurous is a hound/lab mix. He is approx 3 yrs old (born in xxxx) and weighs 70 pounds. He and his Mom and 2 male dog housemates found themselves surrendered to rescue by extended family of their recently deceased owner. This group of 4 had been through a tough time, but are now ready to start a new life with loving owners and forever homes. Adventurous looks mostly lab and you would be amazed to see his mom. She is a 30 pound corgi hound mix! One of the other two male dogs from his original household could be his father however Adventurous looks so much more lab than either of them. He is a beautiful and active young dog who unfortunately had tested positive for heart worm. He has had his treatment and has been neutered as well. He is currently in Tennessee but will be transported to New England for adoption. His adoption donation is $300 which includes transport and a micro chip. Effective February 1, xxxx a Quarantine Fee of $75 will be required (in addition to the adoption fee) to adopt a dog that has been Quarantined in MA or NH state. These states mandate that all dogs entering either MA or NH shall be quarantined for 48 hours in a state approved facility. The quarantine fee shall be paid by the adopter either directly to the Quarantine Facility or to Angels Among Us Animal Rescue depending on whether you pick your dog up at the Quarantine Facility or through a MA or NH foster family.
