Meet Sweet Pea! This adorable girl is a lab/pit mix, and only about 1 year old. She weighs approximately 45 pounds and could use to gain a few pounds. She had been laying by the road for 2 weeks and some local people were feeding her. Finally someone decided to bring her to the emergency animal clinic. She had hot spots all over her back and was covered in fleas/ticks, which has since been treated. Poor sweetie! Someone badly neglected her and then dumped her. She is very sweet and submissive. She will give whoever has her her undivided attention. She wants to be loved so badly. Sweet Pea will make a great pet; even after her neglect she still smiles and wants to be loved. She does wonderful with other dogs and everyone she has met so far. Sweet Pea will be spayed and brought up to date on her shots and she is ready to travel to her new home. She has tested negative for Heart Worm thankfully. Sweet Pea is currently in Tennessee, but will be transported to New England for adoption. Her adoption donation is $350 which includes her transport and microchip. Effective February 1, xxxx a Quarantine Fee of $75 will be required (in addition to the adoption fee) to adopt a dog that has been Quarantined in MA or NH state. These states mandate that all dogs entering either MA or NH shall be quarantined for 48 hours in a state approved facility. The quarantine fee shall be paid by the adopter either directly to the Quarantine Facility or to Angels Among Us Animal Rescue depending on whether you pick your dog up at the Quarantine Facility or through a MA or NH foster family.
