Meet Chade! Chade is a sweet adult pit bull terrier that has had a sad family history. He was initially brought in to the vet after he was mauled while tied in his yard. After healing he was fostered and adopted several times but none of the placements were right for him and he has spent the last two years being bounced around! Throughout his ordeals he has remained a sweet boy. Sadly everyone likes him but no one wants him as a part of their forever family. His only negatives are he can be reactive with strange dogs and demodex mange. His skin only breaks out when he's really stressed. Every dog we've taken the time to introduce him to, Chade has been fantastic with. He shares toys, plays with large and small dogs; overall is very good natured. He simply needs a gradual introduction to new dogs but then seems to get along with pretty much any good tempered dog. Being the only dog would be just fine with him, but he certainly can (and does) live peacefully with other dogs. Chade has lived with probably 5 or 6 different dogs in various fosters and about a dozen cats; he is very good with cats! He has been socialized and played with kids aged 3-15 (mostly 10-15 year olds but a few younger ones) and would be great in a family setting. Also Chade loves to cuddle! He will cuddle with anyone he can, constantly!! He is 3-4 years old, neutered and current on everything. Chade is currently in Tennessee and will be transported to New England for adoption. His adoption fee is $400 which includes his transport and microchip. Chade is a courtesy listing for Guardian Angels Pet Rescue (GAPR) in Memphis. Effective February 1, xxxx a Quarantine Fee of $75 will be required (in addition to the adoption fee) to adopt a dog that has been Quarantined in MA or NH state. These states mandate that all dogs entering either MA or NH shall be quarantined for 48 hours in a state approved facility. The quarantine fee shall be paid by the adopter either directly to the Quarantine Facility or to Angels Among Us Animal Rescue depending on whether you pick your dog up at the Quarantine Facility or through a MA or NH foster family.
